THE FOOD WAS EDIBLE

is that how you spell edible?either way, the cafeteria had sweet and sour chicken and it was delicious...i thought i'd never say it, but i think i'm back on solid food now if they keep it up.i was going to post some pics of the bad food, but they didnt have any today.  To give you an idea of what we're doing, we are using MatLab (a big programming language that we figure really hard problems with...it's the stuff that nasa uses) to solve problems by writing programs in Matlab.  Today we had to solve 2 problems and the second one was where someone dropped a bowling ball and a cueball off of a roof and we had to figure out which would hit first, how far apart they were, and the length they were when the first hit.  Me and my partner spent about an hour coding for this one problem, but now we can solve any problem like it using this program...the sad thing: we were one of the first ones done.  One group spent 45 min trying to figure out what they had done wrong...they had something like 'a1' where they should have had 'a2' and they wasted 45 min because of it..i'm sure it will get worse and it will get harder..

Gov's School: Computational Physics

Im' back! I am quite board and am blogging for my preacher's wife's sanity.  I have many pictures and possibly some video to describe how very bad this is...

This is what it's all about: computational physics: the idea of using computers to solve physics when you can't do it by hand.

This is the Sundquist building in which the wii resides.

This is the area in which i talk on the phone...ie when i talked for an hour  and 20 seconds, this is where such took place...

Outside that window resides this carlot:

This is to reassure Cary that I am keeping up: my ipod and his sermons on my ipod...w/reba in the background.

This is the bathroom door that only locks from the outside...enough said.

This is my prison. I photoshopped the picture to make it look bigger...yes the bed is not made...you should see the closet.

A few days ago we took a trip to Huntsville AL to the space institute...

This is utterly priceless: in the dorm before mom and penny left, i let penny listen to her favorite song...

newsflash: i may be going to antartica.  i got an email asking if i wanted to go with the same people that i went to europe with.  ok, i prob wont be going...9,800 dollars for the trip...'nuff said.

Yes, well calculus isn't that hard...i just play it that way so i get people's sympathy...part of my plan to take over the world.  We assumed that your next to oldest son would tell you about pizzahut...ostensibly we can nolonger trust him.  i have nothing more importante to say...

by the way sara beth, u must begin posting on your own blog.  The way you start is to log in first.  then go to www.xanga.com/gomertribe

now look in the upper-right hand corner of your purple page.  it should either say

ratings  - flag  [ xanga - gomertribe - sign out ]

or

ratings  - flag  [ xangajoin - sign in ]

if it's the former, click on gomertribe, if the latter, click on the sign in and type in your username and password.

now you should be at your purple site.  Click where it says new webblog entry.  start typing anything and be sure to save it by clicking on the little disk in the upper left.  When you get back to your xanga homepage, make sure below your entry that it says public.  if it says private, click where it says private so the whole world can see it.
